I've made my own listen again for my mate Andy's self help show on Source FM but have had a bit of a breakthrough in finding out how to schedule the computer not only to wake up & record the show, but also then to mp3 it & post it up on the internet. You can now hear recent shows here.
A new mix by DJ Reithian ethic here (only 18 mins). Things have been quiet for a while as he's been in hiding, following the Church of England fatwa and the furore concerning his darkcore remix of the Songs of Praise theme. He was an early adopter of surround sound but eschewed the traditional 5.1 speaker setup for a 1.5 set up with 5 subwoofers. The largest of these was 8 foot wide, made from a child's paddling pool, in an attempt to reproduce subsonic frequencies down to -10 Hz. Sadly he spent 3 months in hospital after wiring this out of phase & turning his own diaphragm inside out.
the gruen transfer - when a consumer enters a shopping mall, and, surrounded by an intentionally confusing layout, loses track of their original intentions. Spatial awareness of their surroundings play a key role, as does the surrounding sound and music. The effect of the transfer is marked by a slower walking pace and glazed eye 1.
